Fertility Awareness following Sensiplan®

Sensiplan® is a scientific fertility awareness method based on observing and interpreting body signs of uterine fertility. These signs make it possible to determine the fertile and infertile days throughout the menstrual cycle, and they may also alert of possible hormonal imbalances. Important bio-markers are the basal body temperature, cervical mucus and cervix observation. Additionally, other cyclic patterns are observed as well.

History of Sensiplan®

Sensiplan is a scientifically researched and improved set of rules of the first symptothermal method by Roetzer. It has been studied since 1981 by a devision of the German Malteser Werke (Arbeitsgruppe NFP) and was originally called „Natural Family Planning“ (NFP). Since the early years, the method is monitored by ongoing research at the Universities of Düsseldorf and Heidelberg. To distinguish from itself from other non-scientific methods it was branded in October 2010 to Sensiplan®.

It is the most studied and effective FAM available. Find more information and research on the offical website: https://www.sensiplan.de/en/professionals/science-publications .
